🧐 Responsibilities

Conduct user research to develop a deep understanding and empathy for Customer.io's users.
Create design proposals and work closely with engineers on prototypes.
Participate in prioritization discussions, advocating for an excellent customer experience.
Contribute to shaping the design team's culture and processes, providing feedback and improving team standards.
Collaborate within the Profiles squad to enhance features allowing customers to build real-time audiences from their data.
Provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

At least 3+ years of experience in product design within a software development context.
Proven success in working on complex software products, with an ability to understand detailed technical constraints.
A strong foundation in asking "why" to solve problems from first principles and a knack for innovative solutions.
High-quality design execution and the ability to clearly communicate design rationale.
A growth mindset, comfort with feedback, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
Ability to thrive in an autonomous work environment and navigate ambiguity.
Experience working remotely, with strong asynchronous communication skills.
Passion for making complex functionality accessible and understandable.
Familiarity with B2B SaaS environments, particularly those involving data and automation.
Proficiency in Figma and experience with tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Fullstory.
