🧐 Responsibilities
- Planning and Delivery: Partnering with the team to manage the Easel Design System, planning project work, prioritizing component delivery, and setting future directions.
- Advocacy and Enablement: Leading and collaborating with Product Designers and Front-End Engineers to standardize UI/UX patterns across Canva’s products.
- Discover and Define: Contributing to the core library of components and patterns in the Design Systems.
- Supporting Consumers: Providing guidance to Product Designers and Engineers to ensure high-quality user interfaces and adherence to the Design System.
- Maintain Tooling: Scaling and maintaining the Figma design library, integrating new technologies, and supporting the Easel Design Kit.
- Measuring Success: Analyzing and reporting on the success and impact of the Design Systems initiatives.

- Systems Mindset: Ability to build and enhance a design system, improving user experience and developer efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong skills in cross-functional teamwork, feedback exchange, and articulating design guidance. Proficiency in communicating technical aspects with Engineers.

- Systems-to-Product Alignment: Skill in selecting and suggesting appropriate components and patterns to ensure consistent and delightful user experiences.
